They are all great places to live, work and play. And, we’re just a short drive from Chicago, Milwaukee and other great midwestern cities.

My background includes over ten years as a REALTOR, over twenty five years in sales and sales management, numerous awards and recognitions, including CRS and SFR, and many other volunteer activities in the community.

My wife, Jan, and I have made Rockford our home. We live in the geographic center of town and it’s convenient to just about everything we do. We love our home and spend much of our “spare time” working on the house and garden, entertaining friends, and pursuing our hobbies (mine, woodworking--hers, gardening).

Raising two children, who now have families of their own, has been an absolute joy in my life. The oldest, Kari, lives with her husband and two beautiful girls in northern Germany. Someday when I slow down a bit, my wife and I will visit them more often. Jason, his wife and two children, live in the Chicago area and have an equally wonderful life. We’re lucky to see them more often, but not nearly often enough.

Jan and I have two dogs, Louie and Ella. They are a cocker spaniel and cavalier King Charles spaniel mix. They are two of the most pampered dogs on the planet. They also give every bit as good as they get.

In the end, the very best way to choose a REALTOR is by satisfied customers. I chose to be a REALTOR in Rockford and the surrounding area because I want to help people find their ideal, perfect home, just like my wife and I have. Living in the area for many years has given me the knowledge and expertise to leave keys in customer’s hands and smiles on the faces of clients I have worked with.

A client recently purchased one of my listings in downtown Rockford. She works close by and was anxious to take advantage of the first-time homebuyer’s tax credit. We worked together for several weeks making sure all the details were in place. When closing day finally arrived, she was very excited.
